Especially when you can spend 20-30 seconds waiting for a Driving Lesson or Mission Challenge that may only last 15 seconds. While it is liberal when it comes to doling out credits and cars, its missions don't feel fulfilling. Gran Turismo Sport's Campaign isn't bad, but it just doesn't compare. You can earn your way to better cars and competitions. Previous Gran Turismo installments in the core series have had a career mode that lets you grow as a player. It's only when you start looking closer that the details and omissions start tainting the experience.Ī big part of this has to do with the solo, offline experience. At a glance, it seems like a rather well rounded array of options. Sport lets you enter in Daily Races and Championships, and the Lobby lets you take part in online races. The Campaign consists of a 24-lesson Driving School, 64 Mission Challenges, and Circuit Experiences for all the tracks. The Arcade mode offers Single Race, Time Trial, Drift Trial, Custom Race, 2 Player Battle, and VR Tour options. Gran Turismo Sport has many of the basics off of the bat. Unfortunately, this $59.99 game feels more like a prologue than a fully fledged installment in a respected simulation series. ![]() ![]() Gran Turismo Sport is the first entry on the PlayStation 4 and last entry since 2016's Gran Turismo 6. There are also spin-offs that are rather limited in scope, with the Prologue line in particular offering a taste of some cars and modes at a budget price. The core installments are huge undertakings with multiple modes, among them some sort of career, and tons of cars. I would love to have them in GT Sport.When it comes to Gran Turismo games, there have always been established tiers. Can we get the Dodge Viper ACR Final Edition and WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca soon. I want to expereince everything the team has to offer, and I want to help fund the future of Gran Turismo in VR. I would gladly pay $19.99 for most premium cars in the game. Please, if any way possible, try and get all cars available on the Store. As a person who only plays the game in VR, it is exteremely difficult to build up in game currency, so I rely on the option to buy cars through the store. There are a few cars in recent updates which have not been made available for purchase through the PlayStation Store. I have have one favor to ask if anyone connected reads this. There is nothing closer to being able to drive around my dream cars on real and imagined courses from all around the world. I have enjoyed this game immensely for the VR expreience on offer. Whichever version you choose, I hope you enjoy your journey in GT Sport!
